Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Erasy service ("Service") operated by DOREMI K.K. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Erasy is an AI-powered background removal service designed for e-commerce businesses. The Service allows users to upload images, process them through our GPU-based AI inference engine to remove backgrounds, and download the processed results. The Service is available at erasy.app.

2. User Accounts

To use the Service beyond the unregistered trial, you must create an account. You may register using Google OAuth or email and password through our authentication provider, Clerk. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

3. Usage Limits

The Service is offered under the following plans:

• Unregistered: 1 image per day (no account required)
• Free: 3 images per day (account required)
• Starter: 1,000 images per month
• Pro: 10,000 images per month with faster processing

Usage limits reset according to the applicable period (daily or monthly). Unused allowances do not carry over to the next period. We reserve the right to modify plan limits with reasonable notice.

4. Payment and Subscriptions

Paid plans (Starter and Pro) are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fee to your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

• Prices are listed in USD, JPY, EUR, and KRW depending on your region
• All prices are inclusive of the service fee; applicable taxes may apply depending on your jurisdiction
• Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period
• You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time; changes take effect at the next billing cycle

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
• You will continue to have access to your paid plan features until the period ends
• After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods or unused images

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Upload images that contain illegal content, including child exploitation material
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits through multiple accounts, IP manipulation, or other means
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

7. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the images you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content. Images are processed temporarily and are not stored permanently on our servers.

Our Service: The Service, including its design, features, code, and documentation, is owned by DOREMI K.K. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI processing results will meet your specific requirements
• In no event shall DOREMI K.K. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service
• Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim

9. Service Modification and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. In the event of service termination:

• We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email
• New subscription sign-ups will be suspended immediately upon notice
• All existing subscriptions will be set to cancel at the end of their current billing period
• The Service will remain operational until the last active subscriber's billing period ends
• No refunds will be issued for the remaining service period, as full access is maintained until the period concludes

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
